America’s favorite hunky frat boy neighbor, Zac Efron, is back!
This time, he is teaming up with Seth Rogen in a plot to take down a group of wild college girls in the upcoming comedy sequel, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.
The sequel picks up just two years after the original hilarious cinematic feature.
In this particular film, the plot is set to where Mac (played by Seth Rogen) and his wife, Kelly Radner (played by Rose Byrne), are ready to sell their home, but there is one major issue: a wild sorority moves in next door.
The sorority potentially causes chaos within the neighborhood, making it almost completely impossible for the couple to find a buyer.
Mac and Kelly turn to ex-neighbor and former enemy Teddy (played by Zac Efron) to help take the sorority down. Teddy agrees to infiltrate the sorority and charm his way through it, however, the rowdy college girls are not going down without a fight.
The concept of this sequel is more or less the same as the first film, however, the roles are switched whereas instead of the house being inhabited by a bunch of frat boys, sorority girls are in their place.
Also, having original movie’s “villain,” Efron, team up with the Rogen and Byrne characters puts a fresh twist on the follow-up.
Chloe Grace Moretz and Selena Gomez will also be starring in this movie by playing members of the sorority.
Returning cast members include Dave Franco, Ike Barinholtz, Carla Gallo, Hannibal Buress, and Lisa Kudrow. Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising will be coming to a theater near you on May 20th.
I know I will be watching. The casting choices are great and the plot is twisted. I think that this is most definitely the perfect combination of entertainment this spring.
