Kendall Jenner Removes Last Name, Doesn’t Want To Be Associated With Family Name

Don’t dare call Kendall Jenner by her last name again.

The 18-year-old model and sister of the Kardashian clan recently dropped her last name for modeling jobs.

As noticed on Kendall’s portfolio with The Society Management, Kendall’s last name is noticeably omitted from the list, making many to assume that the young reality star does not want to be associated with her famous family.

This wouldn’t be the first time Kendall has expressed some concern over the popularity of her last name. During an interview and cover shoot with Teen Vogue the teenager discussed the difficulty of possessing her last name.

“People didn’t want to take a chance on me, I think because I was sort of known,” Olympian star Bruce Jenner’s daughter stated.

“They were a little bit on the fence about it. Some people might think that what I’ve done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage. I had to work even harder.”

Although its understandable that the young model doesn’t want to be associated with the Jenner or Kardashian name, it’s hard not to believe that the reality star has found some fame from her infamous last name.

If it weren’t for momager, Kris Jenner, and her big booty sisters, Kendall would have probably never made it into the modeling scene. It’s hard enough already for a no name, bright eyed teenager to get a modeling gig and be featured on big cover shoots such as Vogue.

Regardless of the teen’s decision, it’s time that we all get used to calling Kendall Jenner by her first name only.

I wonder how long it will take until the 5’10 model decides to remove herself completely from  Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

    • One would have to be pretty naive to believe that the Kardashian/Jenner brand is actually some sort of hindrance on Kendall’s career as opposed to a great advantage, regardless of her laughable thoughts on the matter.

      • Yes and no. The fashion elite is quite snobbish, so I get why most people thought she would fail. But Kendall will give labels attention to a down market for free. Between the reality show and the extra web coverage, it’s worth using her.

She looks the same in every picture though.
