Mediocre rapper, French Montana, doesn’t come cheap — at least from what sources have dished when it came to signing contracts for the new Kardashian spin-off.
While it was confirmed that French was set to appear on ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons’ a couple of months back, nobody was aware that he was getting paid to be on the show, seeing that Scott Disick reportedly doesn’t make anything on the show. That’s Kourtney’s beau, for those who don’t watch the show.
NYDailyNews reveals that not only did Montana want money for his appearance with Khloe on the show, he wasn’t going to settle for a measly paycheque, having supposedly negotiated a deal with Kris Jenner to his satisfaction.
“We’re told that Jenner, an executive producer on both programs, did the deal directly with Montana, without much input from anyone else. some people at E! just don’t think he’s worth the money,” the news outlet’s source shared.
“I’ve heard execs moaning about it, saying, ‘We’re just paying so much for him!’ ”Montana recently explained to Confidenti@l how he got hired for the show. “Me just being a part of her life, they recorded me.”
It’s unclear how much he’s making, but we can kinda figure it out. We already know that Kim Kardashian makes the most on the reality shows that air on E! — a reported $100,000 pay episode. We can assume that her sisters make around half of that.
So if Kourtney and Khloe make $50,000 each, one can assume that Khloe’s beau could be making anything from $15,000 to $20,000 pay episode. Because, mind you, they said he “didn’t come cheap”.
