Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day and Dawn Richard Fight It Out!

According to reports, cops were called Monday to break up a fight which occurred at an L.A. recording studio between the girl group.

Things reportedly got nasty between band mates Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’ Day after a disagreement broke out between the two.

The incident took a turn for the worst once Dawn allegedly struck Aubrey on the head with her closed fist TMZ reported. It was then when cops were called to the scene.

Shannon Bex, another member of the group, reportedly attempted to stop the fight but unfortunately was unsuccessful.

US Weekly has confirmed that “a battery report has been filed” by Aubrey and that the singer “was identified as a victim” within the case. Due to the incident being an open investigation, it is unknown what caused the fight to take place.

The recent brawl between the artists isn’t a surprise, considering that the girl group has had trouble in the  past.

In 2009, the five-person group, which consisted of Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex, D. Woods, and Aundrea Fimbres, separated.

In 2013 the band got back together, this time without group member D.Woods, and launched their single “Lemonade”.  Sadly, the reuniting of the band didn’t last for long.  Aundrea Fimbres departed soon after to start a family, leaving the five person group to three.

Aubrey O’Day was the only one to comment after the incident, posting “hurt people, hurt people,” on Twitter Tuesday.

Hopefully this recent altercation will not be the cause for the permanent ending of Danity Kane.
