Ray J Hit With Four Misdemeanor Charges!!

ray j arrested chargesRay J has been hit with four misdemeanor charges prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The singer, infamously known for his sex tape that launched Kim Kardashian’s career, was charged with sexual battery of a woman, vandalism of a police car, battery of a police officer, and resisting arrest. The complaint was filed on Monday.

Reports have stated that the charges date back to a May 30th incident at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel where Ray J allegedly brushed up against an unidentified woman’s behind at the hotel’s bar.

Although Ray J has stated that he accidently brushed up against the woman and although police have found his actions to be unintentional, the district attorney is however still charging him.

New York Daily News stated that “Prosecutors claim he willfully touched the woman’s ‘intimate part’ for the ‘specific purpose of sexual arousal, sexual gratification and sexual abuse.’

Reports have indicated that the singer had been asked to leave the hotel bar on his own after police found that the touching was accidental.

His chance to leave and let bygones be bygones failed when Ray J took I upon himself to become belligerent with staff and spit on officers, even resorting to kicking out the window of a cop car after being cuffed in the back of the vehicle.

TMZ reported that the singer kicked out the window due to feeling “claustrophobic.” The 33-year-old brother of singer-actress Brandy Norwood is due for an arraignment Friday in Los Angeles.

Hi, my name is Merema. If learning about pop culture was a degree I could've studied when I decided to take on a three-year course at college, I would've probably had the highest grades in my class. But instead, I settled for a BA in Film and a Master's in Filmmaking.
