The super private actor talks about his romance with his ever-so-famous actress who he has yet to marry.
Theroux has been making headlines for the past couple of months, having allegedly left Jennifer on numerous occasions because he couldn’t deal with Hollywood and the glitz and glam.
He was then believed to have dumped Jennifer because he wasn’t ready to have kids, and then another tabloid claimed the two were faking their romance to silence rumors that Jennifer was never to find love again.
Ridiculous as it may sound, there’s always a question mark on these two and their relationship seeing that they’ve been engaged for years yet have made no moves to further where they currently stand.
In Justin’s new interview, he clears some things up though: “I could say everything’s good, and then it’s reflected back as ‘JUSTIN THEROUX: EVERYTHING’S GOOD?’”
“That just creates this echo chamber, and as it ricochets around the Internet, it just gets wacky,” Theroux explained about the media’s fascination with the couple and the supposed fake stories that have been printed about the twosome.
“There’s a huge distinction between wanting to act and wanting to be a famous actor,” he added. “Most of the people that jump off buses in Hollywood just want to f—ing ‘make it.’ And I never had that drive. Honestly. I could never visualize myself in that way,” NYDailyNews quotes him saying.
He makes a great point. Things are very easily taken out of context, especially when it comes to Jennifer Aniston, because from what we’ve seen, she’s selling tabloids like crazy.
