She definitely speaks her mind on social media and her messages are strong, but she portrays herself as real and down-to-earth.
Her Twitter rant that consisted of nine tweets caused a stir among everyone who is a fan or not. She pointed fingers at every person who is online making fun of other artists and doing nothing with their lives.
Fans wars are clearly not Azalea’s cup of tea because she seemed to be disgusted by it after Nicki Minaj‘s fans sent her negative comments.
The 23-year-old Australian singer tweeted, “Just remember while your all at home online cracking jokes about artists etc that Most of you have done NOTHING. NOTHING! With your lives.”
“Don’t flex someone else’s achievements. So many of you Internet kids quote the feats of others as if they were your own.”
“And just to clarify for anyone who didn’t understand that last statement goes out to people who bully others…”
In addition, she then tweeted, “Fan wars back and forth and all that shit is all bullshit.”
“Someone who’s music you love doing great should never be an excuse to be awful to others. That’s my point I suppose.”
“I just find it really disgusting.”
“Don’t be cruel to one another. And learn to understand how much work it takes to achieve anything in life.”
Azalea finished her rant by tweeting, “Success should be celebrated and not used as an excuse to be awful to others, especially when it’s not even your own. That my point.”
Azalea’s song “Fancy” landed number one of Billboard Hot 100 and helped her become the first artist since The Beatles to appear in the top two slots. She definitely put the bullies in their place and proved she is an honest and genuine artist.
