Toni Braxton On The Breakfast Club: Gets Roasted By DJs For ‘Not Being Like Beyonce’

toni braxton breakfast clubToni Braxton appeared on Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club earlier today as she promotes her latest album Love, Marriage & Divorce, and the interview was rather interesting.

Though many of us only know Toni as the incredible singer who seems to be private with her business, she wasn’t afraid to dish stories about her bankruptcy issues, how she tends to use a vibrator when she hasn’t got a man around, among many other interesting topics.

It’s fair to say that most of the interview was based off of things other than the album. She made an appearance with the legendary producer Babyface who happens to be her duet partner for most of the songs on the new album.

Radio DJ, Charlamagne tha God, didn’t hold back with his questions either after stressing how shocked he was that Babyface never “tried to hit it” or “smell it,” referring to sexual activities with Toni Braxton. You can tell by Babyface’s expression that he wasn’t too amused. Haha.

The interview was pretty damn hilarious but you can tell that Toni and Baby probably won’t make a return to the show anytime soon — if you’re a fan of Toni Braxton, you gotta watch this interview!

Oh — DJ Envy even had the nerve to say that Toni is so ratchet that she should be following in the footsteps of Beyonce and make music that’s going to be appealing to the younger generation, constantly referring to songs such as Drunk In Love.

I gotta admit that I’ve never seen this side of Toni before — she was so comfortable with pretty much talking about anything. Maybe she’s coming into her own lane and knows that she has to give more of herself to stay relevant.

Love, Marriage & Divorce is in stores now, and puh-lease go buy the album because I don’t want to witness the day Toni sells less albums than her younger sister Tamar Braxton who impressed us with sales of 114,000 in its first week.
