Jennifer Aniston Angry Over ‘Angelina Jolie’ Character In Movie, Threatened To Quit!

Jennifer Aniston was left fuming after learning that a character in one of her latest movies was named Angie – short for Angelina Jolie.

As we all know, these two have been back and forth for quite some time now and the fact that Jennifer doesn’t like Angelina is no secret.

So when it came down to shooting scenes for the movie Squirrel to the Nuts over the summer, Jennifer Aniston was stunned when she went through the script and saw that one character was named after Angelina Jolie.

Star magazine says that Jen-An was so furious about it, she almost felt like the production team were trying to mock her by having a character with that name in the film.

“The original script had a role named Angie, and it infuriated Jen. She cringed whenever she heard it. Production was scheduled to start on a Monday but Jen didn’t arrive until Wednesday because the scripts had to be revised first.”

According to the report, the name was later on changed due to the request by Jennifer Aniston who not only made it clear that she would quit the role, but also started behaving very rudely towards her cast and crew members.

Ever since the whole thing with the Angie character went down, Jennifer started to give the people around her a nasty vibe by refusing to talk to them and just simply not being able to get over what the production allegedly did on purpose.

We’re going to assume that the whole Angie thing was done intentionally to start some kind of buzz for the film upon its release which probably would’ve worked because during promotion, everyone would’ve asked what she made of it.

Anyway, the whole thing seems ridiculous; how do you get upset over something so small. At the end of the day you’re going home with a multi-million dollar paycheck so Angelina Jolie’s short name really shouldn’t be bothering you the way it does.

Hi, my name is Merema. If learning about pop culture was a degree I could've studied when I decided to take on a three-year course at college, I would've probably had the highest grades in my class. But instead, I settled for a BA in Film and a Master's in Filmmaking.
