Demi Lovato Disses Kim Kardashian Telling Fans: “If You Want To Be Famous, Make A Sex Tape”

Kim Kardashian may not be too happy to read the interview her friend Demi Lovato recently did with The Guardian, saying that if she was to ever welcome kids into the world that want to be famous for no apparent reason, the route for that would be to simply make a sex tape.

As we all know the entire Kardashian family received their big break from Kim and Ray J‘s 2006 tape which immediately went viral, and at that time not many people really knew Kim other than the girl who followed Paris Hilton around 24/7.

Demi Lovato states in the interview that to those people who are aspiring to become successful in acting or singing, they should definitely follow their dreams, but if it was just for the pure fact that you want paparazzi chasing after you and being in the tabloids all day long, get raunchy on a tape.

“When people say, ‘I want to be famous – I want to be a star,’ you have to ask: ‘What are your intentions? If you just want to be famous, make a sex tape.”

Backing up her statement and clarifying it, the X Factor judge then continued to let out her frustration seeing that many people confuse the fact that making a video tape of you sleeping with someone doesn’t make you talented, or known for anything other than a sell-out:

“So what I’d say is, if you’re doing it because you want to be a respected actress or musician, follow your dream. If you just want paparazzi following you, rethink what’s going on in your little head. It’s crazy how people confuse the two nowadays.”

Demi definitely makes a point though. These days we have a lot of famous people who are famous for… being famous (overuse of the word famous. Ha), which questions us as to how many pointless stars there actually are in Hollywood compared to legit talented people.

Think about it. We have reality stars who are paid to do nothing more than be themselves – that’s not a talent. We have socialites who jump from one athlete to the next to stay relevant in the papers, and then we have those who get naked or do something explicit to land themselves a multi million dollar deal to sell whatever it is that was so controversial.

Demi really went in on Kim, don’t you think?
